Farmingville, NY - On July 24, Supervisor Ed Romaine was on hand for the dedication of the newly renovated shrine of St. Jude at St. Jude Roman Catholic Church located on Overlook Drive in Mastic Beach. The new shrine replaces one that stood at the site since the 1940s and consists of a renovated building to house the shrine statue, stations of cross, an open-air pavilion and bench in a beautifully landscaped garden. The project was completed thanks to the generosity of the St. Jude parishioners and supporters who donated over $1.2 million to complete the project.
