Farmingville/Medford, NY – Brookhaven Town Highway Superintendent Daniel P. Losquadro and Councilman Michael Loguercio have announced the completion of a paving project in Farmingville and Medford.

Prior to paving, crews made concrete improvements, including replacing damaged concrete curbing and aprons. In addition, two new drains were installed in the area to alleviate flooding issues and concerns. Roads paved during the completion of this paving project include Fairmont Avenue, Lyndsie Court, Poe Drive, Sachem Court, Whitman Drive, and Whittier Avenue. The total cost for this project was approximately $435,000.

“We continue to work our way through the Town, improving our infrastructure one road at a time,” said Superintendent Losquadro. “Roadways in this neighborhood had deteriorated significantly over the years and are now smoother and safer for residents, motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists.”

Councilmember Loguercio said, "I am always happy to work with Superintendent Losquadro to improve our roadways in the 4th Council District.  Thanks to the hardworking men and women in Highway for helping this substantial re-paving project come to fruition.”
