Dress for Success Brookhaven Accepts Donation From Macy’s Smith Haven

Farmingville, NY – On September 23, representatives from Macy’s Smith Haven visited the Dress for Success Boutique at Brookhaven Town Hall to present a donation of $5,000 in Macy’s gift cards and a selection of women’s blouses. Macy’s Smith Haven has been a generous supporter of Dress for Success Brookhaven for many years. In 2020, the store donated 1,800 prom dresses to the Dress for Success Prom Boutique. Dress for Success is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the developmental tools to help them thrive in work and in life. Established in 1999 with the support of the Town of Brookhaven, the Division of Women’s Services and more than 50 volunteers, Dress for Success Brookhaven has been instrumental in helping more than 6,000 women achieve their goal of becoming self-sufficient and economically independent.
