Farmingville, NY – In anticipation of the impending snow storm, the Town of Brookhaven will close all Recreation Centers, Senior Centers, the Manorville Compost Facility and the Aquatic Center in Mastic all day Thursday, February 9. The facilities will reopen at their regular time on Friday, February 10.
The Town’s Meals on Wheels program will be suspended on Thursday and will resume on Friday when weekend meals will be delivered as well as meals for Monday, which is a Town holiday in observation of Lincoln’s Birthday. The Town has already delivered Thursday meals. The Town’s Jitney Program is also suspended on Thursday and will resume operation on Friday.
Residents should call 451-TOWN to report snow related issues. Call 911 for police, fire and ambulance emergencies only. To report a power outage or downed wires, call PSEG at 800-490-0075 or go to their website to file a report online.
