Sweet sweet Artemis, this delightful girl is looking for a place to rest her head and a home to call her own. She arrived after being removed from a bad situation by an Animal Control Officer. She is a little reserved until she gets to knows you, which takes no time at all and then its game on and she loves being with you and getting lots of pets and attention. She takes her time inspecting and smelling everything, she really enjoys playing with toys, chasing and catching balls and she will chew on a bone but its not her go to. She knows sit and is treat motivated and takes them very gently, Artemis lacks leash skills and can be a bit jumpy but does know what a dog bed is and has no problem stretching out on it and napping. She is looking to be someone's best friend, if you are in the market for a loyal and loving bestie this is your girl. Artemis will do best as the only pet with kids over the age of 16. She is 62 pounds, about 2 years young, up to date on vaccinations, spayed, micro-chipped and heartworm negative.
