The “Betty White Challenge” developed on social media following her death on December 31, 2021, asking people to donate in the well-known actress and animal lover/animal welfare advocate to their local animal shelter and rescue organization. 



Participating in the Betty White challenge to honor the legendary actress’ 100th birthday with a donation to the Brookhaven Animal Shelter? Donate online now or send a check made out to “Brookhaven Town” with “Animal Shelter-Betty White Challenge” to Town of Brookhaven Department of Finance, 1 Independence Hill, Farmingville, 11738.
