Farmingville, NY - On June 11, Supervisor Ed Romaine (fifth from left) was on hand to celebrate “Wellness Day” for veterans and their families at Camp Pa Qua Tuck in Center Moriches. The camp is dedicated to the benefit of special needs individuals of Long Island and beyond. It stands today through the effort of many Rotary Clubs throughout District 7255 which includes Long Island from Brooklyn to Montauk Point. Camp Pa Qua Tuck, has a 70-year track record for making the dreams of individuals with disabilities a reality. Each year, thousands of campers enjoy a session of summer fun at Camp Pa Qua Tuck’s 37-acre site on the shores of Kaler’s Pond in Center Moriches. For more information, go to www.camppaquatuck.com.
