Farmingville, NY - Councilman Michael Loguercio has announced that the Town of Brookhaven is bringing back the Longwood Fair on September 9 and 10. The event will be held at the historic Longwood Estate located on Longwood Road and Smith Road in Ridge. The fair will run from 11a.m. to 5 p.m. both days and will have entertainment for adults and children, including traditional crafts, vendors, pony rides, primitive cooking, Irish step dancing, Revolutionary War and Civil War re-enactments, and music.
"I've spoken with so many people who asked that we bring back the Longwood Fair," said Councilman Loguercio. "It was one of the most popular annual Town events and it attracted families from Brookhaven and beyond. I thank the Parks Department for working with me to get the fair on the calendar again after a four-year hiatus and I urge everyone to come to this very special event."
