Farmingville, NY – -Brookhaven Town Highway Superintendent Daniel P. Losquadro and Councilman Michael Loguercio have announced the recent paving of Revilo Avenue from Moriches-Middle Island Road to the Dead End in Shirley.
Prior to paving, crews completed concrete improvements, inspecting all area drains and repairing and replacing damaged concrete sidewalk and aprons. The total cost for this paving project was approximately $650,000. “This nearly 2.5-mile stretch of Revilo Avenue that runs parallel to William Floyd Parkway is a major artery in Shirley and was in need of resurfacing,” said Superintendent Losquadro. “I am happy we were able to include it in our 2022 paving season.” Councilman Loguercio said, "Thank you to Superintendent Losquadro and his entire staff for continuing to do the job that they do, serving the people of our town with the level of service that they deserve."
