Farmingville, NY - On September 19, Supervisor Ed Romaine (left) and Councilman Neil Foley (center) honored Steve Fuoco for being named “2022 Italian American of the Year” at the annual Italian Feast of Saint Liberata in Patchogue. At the event, the Supervisor and Councilman presented Mr. Fuoco with a proclamation naming September 10 as “Steve Fuoco Day” in Brookhaven Town. The annual feast featured the traditional parade of the statue of Saint Liberata, live entertainment, vendors, bocce games and indoor and outdoor dining on Main Street. The Patchogue Italian Feast of St. Liberata was first celebrated in 1923. Also pictured is Mr. Fuoco’s granddaughter, Everly Jean Hill.
