Farmingville, NY – – Supervisor Ed Romaine has announced that the Town of Brookhaven Youth Bureau INTERFACE program will host the Red Knights Motorcycle Club New York Chapter 26 Teddy Bear Run on November 20. Each year, the club holds this event to collect donations of new Teddy Bears for thousands of needy children in Brookhaven Town. Registration starts at 10:30 am at the Terryville Fire Department Station 3 located at 433 Canal Road in Port Jefferson Station. The ride kicks off at 12:00 noon and ends with a special lunch at Painters’ Restaurant, 416 South Country Road in Brookhaven. Non-riders can meet at Painters’ for lunch at 1:00 pm. Participation fee for riders and passengers is $25 or $30 without a teddy bear. The first 100 riders receive a free t-shirt. Anyone is welcome to drop off a donation at either the Terryville Fire Department Station 3 or Painters'.
