Farmingville, NY – – On October 25, Supervisor Ed Romaine participated in Longwood High School’s annual Legislator’s Day, when students get to listen to and ask questions of their national, state and local elected officials. It is part of the Longwood Board of Education’s Legislative Committee goal to prepare students to be active, educated, and civic-minded participants in their community. Supervisor Romaine, who is a former history teacher, spoke of his life in government and encouraged the students to get involved in their community.

Supervisor Romaine said, “I enjoy spending time in the classroom with students who are interested in learning about government and how it works. I thank the Longwood High School staff for inviting me and I look forward to returning whenever I can.”
