Superintendent Losquadro, Councilman Loguercio Announce Completion of $1.3-million Bellport Paving

Patchogue/East Patchogue, NY – – Brookhaven Town Highway Superintendent Daniel P. Losquadro and Councilman Michael Loguercio have announced the recent completion of a 10-road paving project in Bellport.

Prior to paving, in-house crews and outside contractors completed concrete improvements, inspecting all area drains and repairing and replacing damaged concrete sidewalk, aprons and curb. In total, crews removed and replaced 3,517 linear feet of concrete curb, 2,402 square feet of concrete sidewalk, 5,778 square feet of apron; 1,655 square feet of ADA-compliant handicap ramps were also installed. Roads paved during this paving project include: Agamemnon Avenue, Atlantic Avenue, Bellport Avenue, Brookhaven Avenue, Hampton Avenue, Louise Avenue, Martha Avenue, Pace Avenue, Patchogue Avenue, and Walker Avenue. The total cost for this paving project was approximately $1.3 million.

“In addition to the repaving of 10 roadways, this project required an extensive amount of concrete repairs and installations completed by both our in-house crews and outside contractors,” said Superintendent Losquadro.

Councilman Loguercio said, "Thank you to Highway Superintendent Dan Losquadro, and his entire team in the Highway Department, for keeping our 3,500 miles of roadway safe in the Town of Brookhaven.”
