Farmingville, NY – – On November 15, Supervisor Ed Romaine attended New York State Assemblyman Joe DeStefano’s “Women of Distinction” awards breakfast at the SSG Keith Bishop VFW Post 2937 in Medford. The award is presented to women who have gone above and beyond to their community on PTA boards, created a not-for-profit for children’s health, worked with minority groups and more. The women have all earned this honor and are outstanding members of the community.
Supervisor Romaine said, “Congratulations to this outstanding group of women who have made community service a priority in the lives. I thank them for all they do to make Brookhaven Town a better place to live.”
