Registration Still Open for the 13th Annual Polar Plunge to Benefit Special Olympics

Farmingville, NY – – Councilwoman Jane Bonner has announced that registration is still open for the 2022 Special Olympics of New York Polar Plunge at Cedar Beach in Mount Sinai. The event will be held on Saturday, November 19 with on-site registration from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. Plunging starts at 12:00 noon. The money donated goes to pay for the training of the athletes, equipment, attire, health supplies and more. All registered plungers are invited to attend the “Pre-Plunge Party” on Friday, November 18 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. This event includes pre-check in, signing the waiver and receiving the Polar Plunge wristband and official sweatshirt. You can even take a photo with the famous Polar Plunge Polar Bear. The Pre-Plunge Party will be held at Recipe Seven Cocktails & Kitchen, 275 Route 25A in Miller Place.
