Farmingville, NY – Councilwoman Jane Bonner has announced that Quality Parks, a Port Jefferson-based not-for-profit, is offering a Master Naturalist certification training winter workshop March 16, 17 and 18. The program will allow residents of all ages to develop natural intelligence, connect with nature through both science and experience, and become a true steward of Long Island’s waters and open spaces. It is an adopt-a-park and train-the-trainer environmental program for discovering yourself and the real Long Island. All skill levels are welcome. The program is customizable and flexible, and is of benefit to both personal and professional development goals.
