Farmingville, NY – – On March 17, Councilwoman Jane Bonner was on-hand to celebrate the 34th Anniversary of Personal Fitness, located at 721 Route 25A in Rocky Point. The gym, which has been at the same location since opening in 1989, is owned by Ed Darcey, a Ridge resident, graduate of Riverhead High School and C.W. Post University. Ed is very active in the community and is always ready to lend a helping hand to feed the homeless and support many good causes in the community. Councilwoman Bonner presented Mr. Darcey with a proclamation from the Town Board that declared March 17, 2023 as Personal Fitness Day in the Town of Brookhaven.
