Farmingville, NY – – Supervisor Ed Romaine has announced the Town’s Youth Board is accepting submissions of artwork for its annual “Brookhaven’s Got Talent Student Art Show” taking place on Thursday, May 4 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Brookhaven Town Hall. The theme of this year’s Art Show is “Keeping Strong through the Pandemic.”
Students enrolled in seventh through twelfth grade are asked to submit photos, paintings and/or drawings that depict what kept them strong throughout the pandemic. To participate in this year’s Art Show, students can visit Brookhaven Town’s website at BrookhavenNY.gov/Arts, complete the application form including parent/guardian signature, and attach their painting, picture or drawing for consideration. All submissions must be received by Friday, April 21, 2023.
Prints of the students’ artwork will be displayed during the month of May in the second-floor lobby of Brookhaven Town Hall, located at 1 Independence Hill in Farmingville. For more information, please call the Department of General Services at 631-451-6331.
