Farmingville, NY – On April 29, Supervisor Ed Romaine celebrated Arbor Day at the annual tree seedling, mulch and compost give away at Brookhaven Town Hall in Farmingville. Residents were able to choose from a variety of tree seedlings, while Town of Brookhaven staff provided planting and care instructions. The staff also distributed free bins for paper recycling and environmentally friendly leaf bags. Free mulch and compost were also available in bulk for residents who brought shovels and containers to load it into their vehicles. For more information, call 631-451-TOWN or visit the Town website.
