Farmingville, NY – On June 15, Supervisor Ed Romaine was at the LI News Radio broadcast studio in the Islip Macarthur Airport terminal to celebrate the 500th broadcast of The Nonprofit Voice, hosted by Ron Gold. The program is the only radio show dedicated to Long Island’s nonprofit community. When he started The Nonprofit Voice more than 10 years ago, Mr. Gold wanted to shine a spotlight on Long Island’s nonprofit community. Over the years, leaders from agencies of all sizes have joined him on air, providing community leaders a platform to discuss the important work they do and the issues they face. The Nonprofit Voice airs every Saturday morning on LI News Radio 103.9 FM from 8:00 am to 9:00 am and features inspiring residents who give back.
