Farmingville, NY – At the July 20 Town Board Meeting, Councilwoman Jane Bonner and the Town Board honored Coram resident Mae Caime, New York Senior America 2023 at the 38th Annual Ms. New York Senior America Pageant at the Bayway Arts Theater in East Islip. Ms. Caime competed with women from across New York State in four categories: Interview; Philosophy of Life; Evening Gown Walk of Elegance; and Talent. During her year-long reign, Ms. Caime will participate in statewide showcases and educate senior women about the New York Senior America organization. She will compete at the 40th Annual Ms. Senior America National Pageant at the Tropicana Atlantic City in October against all the other state winners.
The Senior America mission statement is based upon the belief that seniors are the foundation of America and our most valuable treasure. It is upon their knowledge, experience and resources that our younger generation could build a better society. Ms. Caime’s background includes being a registered nurse, specializing in all areas of healthcare support and education. She has also developed programs to increase morale, collaboration and communication for Long Island Spine Specialists.
