Farmingville, NY – On November 14, Councilwoman Jane Bonner served as host to the Shoreham Wading River High School's Community Relations Class at Town Hall. The students are working toward their New York State Seal of Civic Readiness. They met with Councilwoman Bonner to learn and ask questions about civic engagement, service learning, the structure of Brookhaven Town government and the various community improvement projects underway or planned in Council District 2. The students were joined by their Social Studies teacher, Maria Lovasco. The students who met with the Councilwoman Bonner (2nd from right in the left photo and center in the right photo) were Reanna Gill, Abigail Savona, Emily Schmalzle, Shannon Redlein, Giovanna Costa, Elysa Corso, Kaelyn Metz, Riley Metz, Lauren Pollak, Erin Cahill, Caroline Panasci, and Hannah Scotto.
