JVC Broadcasting to Host Annual Food Drive on November 18 and November 19

Farmingville, NY –  With the Thanksgiving holiday quickly approaching, JVC Broadcasting and its roster of six radio stations is once again hosting their annual food drive to support the Brookhaven INTERFACE Program. This year’s two-day event will be held Saturday, November 18 and Sunday, November 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Compare Foods, 257 Route 112 in Patchogue and Super Walmart, located at the Boulevard Shopping Center, 901 Boulevard East in Yaphank.

All six JVC Broadcasting radio stations will be collecting food donations on both days, La Fiesta 98.5 and En Vino1440 AM / 93.3 FM at Compare Foods, and Party 105; My Country 96.1; LI News Radio 103.9 and Big 98.1 will be at Super Walmart. At past events, JVC Broadcasting has been very successful in raising donations and is looking forward to continuing this tradition.

Suggested food items for donations are all non-perishables including, but not limited to canned soups, canned cranberry sauce, turkey gravy, stuffing mix, instant potatoes, canned sweet or white potatoes, rice, canned vegetables, jar or canned sauce, macaroni, canned fruit, pudding, jello, cookie mix and icing and juice. Also, $10 dollar gift cards to local supermarkets so families in need can purchase a turkey are accepted.
