Town Recreation and Senior Centers, Brookhaven Aquatic Center Closed All Day Tuesday

Farmingville, NY - Due to the impending snowstorm on Tuesday, February 13, the Town of Brookhaven will close all Recreation Centers, Senior Centers and the Brookhaven Aquatic Center in Mastic. All day and evening activities on Tuesday are canceled. All transportation to the senior center is canceled and the nutrition program will not run on Tuesday. The facilities are as follows: 
 
 - Henrietta Acampora Recreation Center in Blue Point
 - Robert E. Reid Sr Recreation Center in Shoreham
 - New Village Recreation Center in Centereach
 - St. Michael’s Recreation Center in Medford 
 - Mastic Recreation Center in Mastic
 - Rose Caracappa Senior Center in Mount Sinai 

 All permit holders will be notified by our staff by phone call as well as email. 
 
 Residents should call 451-TOWN (8696) to report snow related issues. Call 911 for police, fire and ambulance emergencies only. To report a power outage or downed wires, call PSEG at 800-490-0075 or go to www.psegliny.com to file a report online. 
 
Please go to the Town’s website at www.brookhavenny.gov for up-to-date snowstorm related news, information, weather updates and emergency contact numbers. The Town will also be sending out e-mail alerts to residents who have registered on our e-mail list. If you are not on the list, you can sign up today on the Town website. Residents can also sign up for countywide Code Red alerts at www.suffolkcountyny.gov
