Farmingville, NY – On February 3, Councilmember Jane Bonner welcomed Girl Scouts from Troops 2581 and 3164 in Rocky Point to Town Hall. The group met in the Town Council conference room where Councilmember Bonner joined in a lively discussion about Town government and her role on the Town Council. By participating, the Girl Scouts earned their Inside Government junior badge.
Councilmember Bonner said, “I really enjoyed my meeting with the Girl Scouts at Town Hall. They were so enthusiastic to learn more about how government works and I was happy to spend the time talking with them. These girls are the leaders of tomorrow and from what I can see, we will be in good hands.”
