Councilmember Foley & Great South Bay Coalition Set Family Friendly Alcohol Free Zone at Parade

Farmingville, NY –  Councilmember Neil Foley has announced that he will partner with the Great South Bay Coalition to host a “Family Friendly Alcohol Free Zone” during the Bayport-Blue Point Chamber of Commerce 27th Annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade on March 12. The “Family Friendly Alcohol Free Zone” will be located at the Henrietta Acampora Community Center, 39 Montauk Highway in Blue Point. The parade starts at 11:00 am and runs east on Montauk Highway from Snedecor Avenue to Blue Point Avenue. The parade Grand Marshall is life-long Bayport resident Karl Auwaerter, owner of the Bayport Flower Houses.

 Councilmember Foley said, “The Bayport-Blue Point Saint Patrick’s Day Parade is one of the best around and I am happy to be there each year to march. I thank the Great South Bay Coalition for joining me to set up the Alcohol Free Zone and look forward to enjoying the parade.”
