Free Prom Boutique to open from March 20 to June 16
Farmingville, NY - Soon high school students will be preparing for the prom and the Brookhaven Town Youth Bureau will be ready with its “Prom Boutique.” Located on the second floor at Brookhaven Town Hall, the Prom Boutique offers qualifying students a selection of gently used gowns, handbags and costume jewelry, as well as make up and fragrances, all of which are theirs to keep. Young ladies who qualify for assistance will be dressed from head to toe, helping to make their prom dreams come true. This service is free of charge and kept strictly confidential.
The Prom Boutique will be open from March 20 through June 16, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Special evening hours (5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.) will be April 6, April 27, May 11, May 25 and June 15. Appointments are necessary and can be made by calling 631-451-8011.
Donations of clothing sizes 14 plus and accessories can be dropped off at the Prom Boutique on the second floor at Town Hall.
