Farmingville, NY - On December 7, Supervisor Ed Romaine thanked members of the Red Knights Motorcycle Club New York Chapter 26 for their heartwarming contributions to the Town of Brookhaven Youth Bureau’s INTERFACE Toy Drive. Each year, the club holds an event to collect Teddy Bears for the drive. In addition to collecting teddy bears this year, the club also raised $750 to be used toward the purchase of toys for needy children in Brookhaven Town.
Supervisor Romaine said, “These contributions will make it possible for so many children in need to experience the joy of opening a gift this holiday season. I want to thank the Red Knights Motorcycle Club for their generosity and continued support of this program.”
Every year this drive provides thousands of toys to children ranging in age from infant to 15 years old. This year’s INTERFACE Toy Drive will run through December 19. Donations can be dropped off at the following Town locations:
- Brookhaven Calabro Airport, 135 Dawn Drive in Shirley
- Brookhaven Highway Department, 1140 Old Town Road in Coram
- Brookhaven Town Hall, One Independence Hill in Farmingville
- New Village Recreation Center, 20 Wireless Road in Centereach
- Rose Caracappa Senior Center, 739 Route 25A in Mount Sinai
