Councilman LaValle and the Town Board Honor US Army Staff Sergeant Christopher Harper on his Re-Enli

Farmingville, NY - At the April 27 Town Board Meeting, Councilman Kevin LaValle and the Town Board thanked Staff Sergeant Christopher Harper of the United States Army and Centereach VFW Post 4927 for his services and his re-enlistment. He entered active duty in 2006 and served at home and in Afghanistan and in 2014, Sergeant Harper joined the U.S. Army Recruiting Command in Patchogue. Since then, he has continued his service in our community as an active veteran, community partner, and member of the VFW post.

“I want to thank Staff Sergeant Harper and wish him best of luck as he re-enlists to the 1st Group Special Forces and heads to Fort Lewis, Washington” said Councilman LaValle. “Our country is great because people like him serve with honor, so we can preserve our liberty and freedom here and abroad.”
