Supervisor Romaine Honors Pastor Folwaczny on the 40th Anniversary of his Ordination

Farmingville, NY - On Saturday, July 15, Brookhaven Town Supervisor Ed Romaine presented a proclamation to Pastor Norbert Folwaczny of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Patchogue in honor of the 40th anniversary of his ordination. Pastor Folwaczny has been with Emanuel Lutheran for 11 years.

On June 12, 1977 Pastor Folwaczny was ordained in his home-town church of Gethsemane Lutheran in Buffalo. He has served several congregations over the course of the past 40 years, including Prince of Peace Lutheran in Ohio, Calvary Lutheran in Baltimore, St. Mark Lutheran in North Tonawanda, NY, Pilgrim / St. Paul Lutheran in Lakewood, OH, and his current pastorate at Emanuel Lutheran in Patchogue, NY.

Pastor Folwaczny is beloved by the community for his sense of humor, his love of food and his commitment to Christian education. He has also been an ongoing member of the Patchogue Kiwanis Club.
