Councilman Kevin LaValle Unveils Historic Map of Third Council District

Farmingville, NY - On Monday, August 14, Councilman Kevin LaValle unveiled his Brookhaven Town Third District Historic Map. Councilman LaValle joined together at the historic Bald Hill School to unveil the map, which is an effort to preserve and honor the rich and important history of this area. The map was put together with the Councilman and input from local historians from various community groups. The map can be viewed on our website.

“The new map is a great source of information now available to Brookhaven residents,” said Councilman Kevin LaValle. “I want to especially thank Town Historian Barbara Russell and our local historians, whose hard work and dedication to preserving Brookhaven's heritage is greatly appreciated.”
