Farmingville, NY - On September 16, Supervisor Romaine honored lifelong Patchogue resident, businessman and Village Trustee Sal Felice, for being named “Italian American of the Year” at the annual Saint Liberata Festival in Patchogue. At the event, the Supervisor presented Mr. Felice with a proclamation naming September 16 as “Sal Felice Day” in Brookhaven Town. The Patchogue festival was first celebrated in 1923.
“Sal Felice and the entire Felice family have contributed so much to the Village of Patchogue for over 100 years. He continues to give back to the community through his business and as a Village Trustee. Being named as ‘Italian American of the Year’ is a well-deserved honor.”
