Councilwoman Cartright Honors Jefferson's Ferry Foundation at Annual Fundraiser

Farmingville, NY - On September 23, Councilwoman Valerie M. Cartright attended the Monte Carlo 2017 Fabulous Fall event, where Jamie and Maria Lavin of Home Instead Senior Care Central Suffolk County were recipients of the 2017 Humanitarian of the Year award. “Their continued effort and commitment to serve the seniors within the community is one that serves as an inspiration to our Town,” stated Councilwoman Cartright.

For ten years, the Jefferson’s Ferry Foundation has been providing financial assistance, through their Resident Assistance Fund, to residents who either outlive their assets or experience a shortfall through no fault of their own. The members of Jefferson’s Ferry are continuing to ensure the quality of life for seniors through the funds raised at the entertaining and informative event.
