Councilman Loguercio Honors Eagle Scout from Troop 560 in Coram

Farmingville, NY - On January 11, Councilman Michael Loguercio attended the Eagle Scout Court of Honor for Cody Smith from Troop 560 at the Coram Fire Headquarters. During the event, Councilman Loguercio congratulated Cody for his achievement and presented him with a proclamation from the Town Board.

Councilman Loguercio said, “Cody is a very active member of the community and we are proud to have such a wonderful person leading by example for his peers in Brookhaven Town. I congratulate Cody and his family and wish him much success in his future endeavors.”

Since the award was presented in 1912, no more than four % of all Scouts have attained the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). Since its introduction in 1911, the Eagle Scout rank has been earned by more than two million young men.
