Councilwoman Cartright Swears in Trustees at Three Village Community Trust Annual Meeting

Farmingville, NY - On March 14, Councilwoman Valerie M. Cartright (right) attended the Three Village Community Trust Annual Meeting at The Setauket Neighborhood House. Councilwoman Cartright was honored to swear in the Trustees of the organization.

The Trust is devoted to the preservation of the Three Village area as a distinguished place to live, work and visit. The event included an outreach to community members to engage and support the conservation and stewardship of the Three Village area. In addition, Friends of the Greenway, in collaboration with the Trust, will join the Great Brookhaven Cleanup on Saturday, May 19.

This meeting also paid a special tribute to the life and legacy of Bob de Zafra. Bob was a devoted civic leader who co-founded the Three Village Community Trust. As a loyal conservationist, he dedicated his life to the historic preservation and protection of this area.
