Councilwoman Cartright Celebrates Launch of the Port Jefferson Station - Terryville Chamber of Comme

Farmingville, NY - On March 29, Councilwoman Valerie M. Cartright (seventh from right) joined members of the Port Jefferson Station/Terryville business community at a ribbon cutting ceremony to kick-off the new Port Jefferson Station/Terryville Chamber of Commerce. They were formerly associated with the North Brookhaven Chamber of Commerce until it was dissolved in late 2017. Though their name has changed, their mission has not; “The Port Jefferson Station/Terryville Chamber’s mission is to be a catalyst for economic growth for our members and the community through advocacy, education and community enhancement.”

"There are so many outstanding local businesses in the Port Jefferson Station/Terryville area. These businesses are the heart and soul of the community and they are instrumental in supporting local activities. We appreciate all they do and look forward to the growth and expansion of this new Chamber dedicated to our area," stated Councilwoman Cartright.
