Farmingville, NY - On May 5, honorees at the 2018 Preservation Awards, hosted by Preservation Long Island, were presented with certificates from Councilwoman Valerie M. Cartright. Among the honorees were Zachary N Studenroth; Higher Ground Inter-Cultural and Heritage Associates, Inc.; Old First Presbyterian Church of Huntington; The Huntington Historical Society; The Historical Society of Greater Port Jefferson and John Jermain Memorial Library.
These honorees were recognized by Councilwoman Cartright for demonstrating extraordinary achievement in fields related to historic preservation on Long Island and respecting their exceptional work to protect and celebrate historic places, encouraging excellence in stewardship, and advocacy.
