Farmingville, NY – Brookhaven Town Highway Superintendent Daniel P. Losquadro has announced the completion of two paving projects in Stony Brook and Setauket.

In the first project, Mt. Grey Road was paved from Quaker Path to West Meadow Road and West Meadow was paved from Quaker Path to just west of Mt. Grey Road. The second project involved the resurfacing of Black Duck Drive, Night Heron Drive, Wilderness Path and Lubber Street.

The total cost for both of these projects, which in addition to milling and paving also included the inspection and repair of all drains in the area, as well as concrete repairs, was $436,000.

“It’s been nearly five-and-a-half years since I took office as Highway Superintendent and it is very rewarding to see the progress we are making in neighborhoods across Brookhaven Town,” Losquadro said.
