Farmingville, NY – On September 8, Supervisor Ed Romaine honored businessman Lou Giordano for being named “Italian American of the Year” at the annual Saint Liberata Festival in Patchogue. At the event, the Supervisor presented Mr. Giordano with a proclamation naming September 8 as “Lou Giordano Day” in Brookhaven Town. The Patchogue festival was first celebrated in 1923.

“Lou has contributed so much to the Patchogue community and continues to give back through his business and philanthropic activities that help so many people. Being named as ‘Italian American of the Year’ is a well-deserved honor.”
