Farmingville, NY –  On November 7, Councilwoman Jane Bonner attended the Mount Sinai High School Honor Society Volunteer Fair. The event offered local organizations the opportunity to reach 800 teenagers as potential volunteers. It also provided students with information about the many organizations that they can volunteer with and grow a better sense of compassion through community service.

Councilwoman Bonner said, “Volunteers make such a big impact in the community, and we can always rely on students to get things done when needed. Thanks to all our young and not so young volunteers for all they do to improve the quality of life in Brookhaven Town.”
