Farmingville, NY –  On November 2, Brookhaven Town Supervisor Ed Romaine, members of the Town Council and the Department of Housing and Human Services hosted the Town’s Annual Veterans Appreciation Luncheon at Windows on the Lake in Lake Ronkonkoma. More than 150 men and women from local veterans organizations who served our nation attended. At the event, each group was awarded a grant from the Town of Brookhaven to help fund veteran outreach and assistance programs. “I want to thank all veterans for their selfless and courageous service to our country,” Supervisor Ed Romaine said. “Please know our Division of Veterans Services at Town Hall is there to assist you and I encourage our veterans to schedule an appointment to see what benefits you may be entitled to.”
