Women’s Recognition Awards

In recognition of Women’s History Month, the Town of Brookhaven will be celebrating its 34th Annual Women’s Recognition event, with a special celebration to be held in March 2020. 
 
The Town’s Division of Women’s Services is accepting recommendations from community groups, businesses and/or individual residents of women who they believe are worthy of special recognition by the Town for their outstanding service to the community, either as a professional or as a volunteer. Eligible candidates must live or work in Brookhaven Town, and all nominations must include a resume (or equivalent document) and two letters of recommendation. Categories include:

Nomination forms may be picked up from the Women’s Services Division located on the 2^nd floor at Brookhaven Town Hall
(1 Independence Hill in Farmingville).  Nominations can also be submitted by using our interactive online form which can be found here:  BrookhavenNY.gov/WomensRecognition. 
 
The deadline for submitting nominations is Friday, January 31, 2020. Late or incomplete nominations will not be considered.
