Brookhaven Town’s Holtsville Pool is closed today due to a power outage. All Town beaches are open, but red flag conditions are still present at the Davis Park, Great Gun and Ho Hum beaches, limiting water access to knee deep wading only with no swimming. Access is limited to West Meadow Beach due to numerous fallen trees in the area.
All Town residents are encouraged to sign up for NY Alerts, an Emergency Alerting System at
nyalert.gov. This system will allow our Department of Public Safety, Office of Emergency Management to send targeted and general messages to residents. NY Alerts is used only for emergency messages from our Office of Emergency Management before, during and after an event.
